His Excellency Mr Keith McMahon MBE presented his credentials to His Majesty King Tupou VI on Thursday the 30th July, confirming him as the 27th UK High commissioner to Tonga .
Mr. McMahon served as Deputy High Commissioner to Accra, Ghana prior to his appointment as High Commissioner to Tonga and he brings long standing diplomatic relations background to his role.
Mr. McMahon succeeds Mr. Philip Malone whose successful term as British Hish Commissioner to Tonga concluded in June 2026
